Good nutrition is important in a child’s life. Especially during the first 2000 days of their life, it is absolutely critical. So, healthy eating is the key indicator of good health in later life. It is a fact that it is almost a battle to feed children more healthy fresh food. Furthermore, it is a bigger battle to feed nutritious meals at school. Thus far, it is not an isolated phenomenon.

So, the research confirms parents mostly try to shuffle food cost, quality, and availability. Furthermore, cultural beliefs, marketing influences, lacking knowledge and skills add to the challenge.
Balanced Meals
Growing children require energy to fuel their physical activities daily. So, from breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks they need a balanced diet. They need vitamins and minerals to feed the brain. Thus far, sustenance is important to perform to their abilities.
Children become lazy and suffer to concentrate in class when the brain lacks essential vitamins and minerals. Hence, fresh foods are essential for them to focus on. Thus far, relying on the short-term boost of carbohydrates from salty and sweet snacks teaches them bad eating habits. It may lead to obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart diseases. So, they form a habit which they continue in adult life. Children have excellent learning abilities when they are young.
Breakfast
We mostly overlook that breakfast is perhaps the most important meal. So, before children leave for school, they must eat a wholesome breakfast. In fact, there should not be excuses like no time to make breakfast. Your focus should be on the best possible immune system and healthy body.
Incorporate yogurt into the diet. It is an excellent source of calcium. Thus, it helps build strong bones and teeth. The live bacteria in fresh yogurt is important to a healthy digestive system. It helps to cleanse and gets rid of the body of dangerous toxins. Otherwise, these toxins build up inside you.

Muesli bars are packed with nuts, fibre, and dried fruits. Fresh fruits are perfect snack foods. In fact, bananas are a great source of healthy energy. A little planning may provide healthy and interesting snack foods. Thus, you will find healthier snack foods to feed your children.
You may include dried fruits, unsalted nuts, or even a small quantity of dark chocolates.
It is easier to replace sugary and fizzy drinks with coconut water, fresh fruit juice, and homemade lemonade. You may freeze the bottles, so they are colder at school. You must encourage them to drink more water instead.
Wholesome Foods
So, a sandwich filled with fresh ingredients and flavour is a perfect lunch. It helps keep the children away from fish and chips. Furthermore, it provides more energy which lasts longer too. Thus far, a perfect sandwich starts with bread. You may choose grain, brown, wholemeal, or white bread. The starch component of the bread holds everything together.
So, the next important ingredient is the spread. It brings out the flavour and taste of a sandwich. You may use yogurt, peanut butter or mashed avocado liberally. The moderate use of tomato sauce, chutneys, and mayonnaise are great too.

Fresh fruits are great in between meals. They are ideal for recess, and after lunch. Whole fruits such as bananas, apples, pears, and oranges are easier to pack and store. Thus far, you may choose seasonal fruits like mangoes, and papaya to make fruit salads. They provide considerable amounts of vitamins, minerals, fibre, and natural sweetness.
Cultural diversity
It is perfectly okay to combine cultural flavours too. So, it may be with fresh vegetables and salads or on its own. Thus far, it promotes traditional food with healthy options. If your intent is to cut down on bread, you may create delicious salads. It may be ideal for obese children.
